Aguardente de Medronho

Bottle label designed for a spirit brand in Portugal. Aguardente de Medronho is a traditional fruit brandy, obtained from the strawberry tree fruit.

I did two variations – both with a vectorised image of the fruit. The first one has a strawberry tree too, with the fruit over it. Brown colour shades give it a mature look. Finally, a slightly rounded sans-serif typeface gives it an elegant touch.

The second variation includes a bottle collar, with a brief history of the brand. I’ve used a more rounded sans-serif typeface to give it a modern touch. The strong black border is to allow the bottle to stand out on store shelves.
